We weren’t steered wrong by choosing the Pilothouse Restaurant as our venue to celebrate Elizabeth’s 70th birthday!

It’s the original grand dining room of the Delta King. With views of the Sacramento River, diners are transported back in time to the authentic glory of paddlewheel riverboats. We enjoyed the water views and the seasonal dishes selected for the occasion.

All entrees included tender valley greens with champagne vinaigrette, fresh seasonal vegetables, choice of potato, rolls & butter.

A choice of wine was also available:

Woodbridge Chardonnay

Beringer White Zinfandel

The Main Entrees were:

Roasted Chicken Breast served with a Champagne Mushroom Sauce & Rice

Fresh Pacific Salmon with Orange-Cranberry Taragon & Rice

And of course, the piece de resistance for dessert was…

a delicious moist Carrot Cake
